Day 1 in Toronto: Harbour Front, Downtown Toronto

We began our day getting some lunch downtown. We took the streetcar down Spadina Ave.

As we headed to Chinatown, we stopped by a small cafe. One thing that caught our attention was the Iced Lemon Coffee. We decided to give it a shot. It was delicious. At first it was a sweet iced coffee with a hint of lemon. Later it turned into a sweet lemonade with a hint of coffee. Either way, it was pretty good.

After lunch, we headed to the Harbour Front where we saw some pretty neat boardwalk sculptures, shown below.

We also visited the Museum of Inuit Art. Unfortunately, we didn't take pictures, but the artwork inside was amazing. A lot of sculptures made from bone and stone as well as inuit clothing and interpretations of Sedna, the sea goddess.

We also visited the Steam Whistle Brewery. We missed the last tour, but we got a sample of their Pilsner brew. Quite delicious.

We also visited the Death Art Tattoo show at the Hilton. Like the Museum of Inuit Art, we didn't have pictures. A lot of great work done by many tattoo artists from around the world.

That is the end of Day 1. Stay tuned for more!
